Add ability to prepopulate from DBA_HIST_ACTIVE_SESS_HISTORY

From Options for Monitored Instance under Options Menu, in the section Active Session History, I would like to have the option for "Prepopulate from old Oracle ASH" which will query the DBA_HIST_ACTIVE_SESS_HISTORY table. This way, DBA can investigate performance problem of longer than ASH can retain.

This has been implemented long time ago. Please see section "Prepopulate from 10g ASH" in this documentation page:

I too looked for populating from dba_hist_active_sess_history, what I found is to only populate from v$active_session_history... not the same,
I have 3 weeks worth of ASH data to drill into, guessing lab128 would choke due to not able to read the 5GB into memory, thought I ask.
Already tried ASMON (old a bit), but that had problem with the amount of ASH data... anything else I could try?

The length of the history is configurable in Lab128, this will influence not ASH only but the whole collection. Say, if the history is set to 24 hours, then ASH in Lab128 will be pre-populated for that number of hours.
Let me ask you, why you just don't query and aggregate 3-week ASH data directly from the DB?
